How we make money
We earn money on this site in three ways:
- Affiliate commissions
- Advertising partnerships
- Sponsors
Affiliate links
We take part in affiliate programs, including the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. It is an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn commissions by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.
Every product we earn a commission on is one we believe in. In many cases, we have used it ourselves.
Our Find a Pro page uses Networx, and we may earn a referral fee when you request a quote there.
Advertising and sponsored content
We only agree to an advertising partnership if we believe in the product and in the company behind it.
All sponsored content carries a disclaimer. In some places, we may add more explanation of what sponsored content means.
We keep advertising and sponsored content clearly separate from our editorial content, in how we treat it and in how it looks.
