About me
I'm Ben, the founder of Home Caprice. I'm from Lithuania.
Home Caprice began when I moved into the first apartment I bought. For the first time, I had to deal with all the heating and cooling in my home myself.
As with everything, I started by searching online. Most of what I found was either too complicated or full of commercial content: sponsored posts that helped large corporations, not readers.
That's why I started Home Caprice: to help ordinary people understand HVAC, and to make buying, fixing or installing heating and cooling equipment much more straightforward.
I graduated from Copenhagen Business School with a Bachelor's degree and from Robert Gordon University with a Certificate of Higher Education.
Home Caprice has since grown into a small remote team of writers and creators, and you can meet them all on our About page. When we acquired the Know The Flo website in July 2023, I wrote the press release.
You can reach me at ben@homecaprice.com. My personal website is benasleo.com.
